Nice large shaded sites with lots of room to enjoy the natural setting. Fairly quiet with very minimal noise from I-40. Plenty of outdoor activities available. Restaurants and shopping require a little driving and searching. Great deal for the money.

Beautifully manicured sites with large concrete pads. The only negatives we found were the limited cable selections and the close proximity to I-10.

Campground is not a resort, but is very adequate for short stays. It is next to I-35 and has some road noise, but we found the noise from the concrete plant no major factor. Good paved interior roads and the sites are mixed gravel and concrete. Park cable is limited to 17 channels. There was a festival nearby the nights we stayed and the park was packed, but the staff did a good job keeping everything clean.

Great staff eager to help. Sites, laundry and restrooms very clean. A little remote for visits to Carlsbad Caverns (one hour drive).

Good for overnight stay. Sites are close together but adequate. Staff very friendly, but campground is old and in need of upgrades. Close to shopping, adjacent to city park with good golf but far enough off highway to be quiet.
